year 2050
How the year 2050 will look like in the eyes of Artificial Intelligence.
It is said that the future belongs to those who can anticipate and create it. We are currently experiencing a technological revolution, with developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, and other sciences. But what will the world of 2050 look like? The year 2050 will be the dawn of a new era of technology. We will see advances in artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, quantum computing, and more.
One third of working aged men could have their jobs stolen by ROBOTS by the year 2050
Robots could take the jobs of one in three working aged men by 2050, according to a new study that describes its findings as'catastrophic'. Unskilled, low-wage jobs of men between 25 and 54 will be the first to be replaced, says the Washington-based think tank behind the report. The rate of unemployment in the US could reach 50 per cent for individuals of a certain demographic such as young African American males, researchers warned. Last year a report found that as many as 800 million workers could be replaced by machines in just 13 years. Such statistics make worrying news for workers around the world whose jobs may be at similar risk from the rise of intelligent machines.

Global survey: Most people expect humans will grow to trust, even love, AI ZDNet
The next wave of IT innovation will be powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. We look at the ways companies can take advantage of it and how to get started. In the movie "Her," a man falls in love with his operating system, and romance ensues. In reality, people may or may not expect to build romantic relationships with AI systems in the future. They do, however, expect that humans will one day love and trust AI systems enough to depend on them for their well being.

The strange link between global climate change and the rise of the robots
We've already heard of all the nasty consequences that could occur if the pace of global climate change doesn't abate by the year 2050 -- we could see wars over water, massive food scarcity, and the extinction of once populous species. Now add to the mix a potentially new wrinkle on the abrupt and irreversible changes – superintelligent robots would be just about ready to take over from humanity in the event of any mass extinction event impacting the planet. In fact, according to a mind-blowing research paper published in mid-August by computer science researchers Joel Lehman and Risto Miikkulainen, robots would quickly evolve in the event of any mass extinction (defined as the loss of at least 75 percent of the species on the planet), something that's already happened five times before in the past. In a survival of the fittest contest in which humans and robots start at zero (which is what we're really talking about with a mass extinction event), robots would win every time. That's because humans evolve linearly, while superintelligent robots would evolve exponentially.
A.I. expert David Levy says a human will marry a robot by 2050
Human-robot relationships are a running theme in pop culture, from the cylons of Battlestar Galactica to Spike Jonze's film Her and last year's hit show Westworld. But that kind of scenario might not be science fiction much longer. Romance between humans and machines is already nearing the realm of the possible. This year, the California company Abyss Creations plans to start selling a new generation of high-tech sex robots -- dolls that can actually speak and respond to touch. And according to artificial intelligence expert Dr. David Levy, in a few generations, we won't just be having sex with robots, we'll be marrying them.

Sex robots might be better in bed than real humans
According to certain experts, by the year 2050, sex robot tourism, marriage, and prostitution will be commonplace. Robotics expert John Snell of Iowa's Kirkwood College suggests that sex robots, which are robots with which one can presumably have intercourse, will be better in the sack than humans. "'Because they would be programmable," Snell explained to Metro UK, "sexbots would meet each individual user's needs." Concerned about the human condition, Snell notes a possible downside, saying, "Robotic sex may become addictive. Sexbots would always be available and could never say no, so addictions would be easy to feed." The University of Victoria Management School's Ian Yeoman and Michelle Mars wrote a paper entitled, "Robots, Men, and Sex Tourism" which suggested that sex robots would be used as high-end prostitutes by the year 2050.
